"Michael" 69, was born in Easton Maryland on March 12, 1951, He was also a resident of Rhode Island for over 50 years. Michael was the son of the late Norman Wilson and Doris Wilkins(Cornish) and he is survived by his stepfather Robert Wilkins also the brother to the late Bronte Cornish. Michael also leaves besides his Daughter Vernett Latoyua Tillman (Martin) and son in law Raymond Tillman of Warwick his son Mi- chael Frederick Snelgrove of Montreal Canada and his late son Tyrone Victor Martin also his step daughters Cirese Iluditan of West Warwick and Patrice Martin of Middletown his grandchildren Lanasia Lanyia Derrick and Stylez of Warwick. Tyrique and Tyshaun Martin of Nor- wich Connecticut. 3 great grand daughters Laila, Alani, & Lai’ani of Warwick ,his nieces Inez Buchanan of Pawtuck- et and Staisha Cornish of Providence and his nephew Kawan Cornish of Providence. He also leaves to mourn his passing great nieces and nephews and a multitude of family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly.
Michael passed away while doing what he loved most. Fishing. He enjoyed music he was a talented musician and song writer throughout his life . During his younger days he would travel to Canada to perform he was apart of a few bands called “The heart of stone and The love macs” he played the guitar in his free time which was self taught his music has touched so many people. He loved his family he strongly believed that family should be to- gether and to always love one another. Michael was a family man that enjoyed family gatherings And laughing, Boy was his laugh contagious! He loved joking and spending time with all the kids. he loved dancing, cooking He pretty much was a true jack of all trades and he would teach and help anyone that he could. But most important- ly Michael was a man of God, He loved God being a church band member of the New Gospel singers he would write many songs about how much he loved God. Michael is definitely loved and will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 26th from 10am until noon followed by a Celebration of his life at noon. Burial will be private.
