Joyce M. Peno, 64, of Providence, R.I. passed away on July 16, 2020. Born in Pawtucket, R.I. on April 2, 1956 she was a daughter of the late Fausto and Claire Morais and the late Joseph "Pops" Cruz.
She is survived by her daughter, Alicia Joy Peno of Providence, R.I. Also survived by siblings, Fausto Morais and wife Kristen Scott of Pawtucket, R.I., Wanda Morais, Maria Vargas, Rebecca Morais of Pawtucket, R.I., Laura Meleo and husband Ronnie of Warwick, R.I., Nancy Cruz Fredette of East Providence, R.I., Joseph Dean and Alvin Wyatt Dean of New Jersey, Brian Cruz of Washington and Paul Cruz of Florida. Joyce also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Morais.
She worked in Property Management for many years. Joyce loved music and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24th from 5:00 - 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, R.I. Burial is private.
