Tanya M. Gibau,30, passed away on September 8, 2020. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on September 14, 1989. She is the daughter of Joao Gibau and Carolina Gomes. Tanya leaves behind four beautiful children, Ziahair Gibau, Lashanti Gibau, Taheim Gibau and Mayson Gibau. She is survived by her brothers Jason Gibau, Adilson Gomes and John Gibau. In addition,she leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were very dear to her. Tanya was the life of the party. Always full of life and energy. She touched all lives she encountered. Some of her best attributes, were her kindness and transparency. “The Real Kind”. Tanya enjoyed cooking, dancing, laughing and spending quality time with family, especially her four precious children. She impacted many loved ones and will always hold a piece of our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation services that will be held Sunday, September 13th, at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI from 2 PM to 5 PM. A mass service will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 103 Pine St., Pawtucket at 10 AM on Monday, September 14th
