Brenda Marie Pettiway, of Johnston, RI, born July 24, 1960 passed away Wednesday September 30, 2020. She was the daughter of the late L. Doris Pettiway and Ansley S. Pettiway of Providence, RI.
Brenda was a proud alum of Henry Barnard Elementary School, Mount Pleasant High School and Rhode Island College. While employed Brenda was a former manager at Blue Cross of Rhode Island, Rainbow Shops and a jewelry designer.
She is survived by her daughter Latisha M. Rodas and her husband Carlos Rodas; son Davien A. Brown and his fiancee Brianna Kennedy; sisters Linda M. Pettiway and her husband David Barrows, Dawn M. Pettiway, Laura Pires-Lopes and Barbara J. Andrade; aunts Mary R. Fortes and Isabella D. Brito; grandchildren Julian C. Rodas, Dyonna- Alinzia M. Rodas and Jadan C. Rodas; nieces Rhonda Pettiway, Tara Pettiway, Lastarsha Pettiway-Marshall; goddaughter Angela-Lynn Manzo; nephews Rae-Quan Pires-Lopes, Austin Pettiway-Howard and many beloved cousins, family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services on Friday, October 2nd from 4:00 - 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral home service at 7:00pm. Burial is private.
