died at the age of 53 on Monday October 19th. He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years Patricia Gutierrez, his two children Jairo J Gutierrez and Yahayra Gutierrez, and grandchild Jairen. In addition to his eight older siblings and mother, Esperanza Gutierrez.
He was born in Barranquilla Colombia on February 19, 1967 and came to the United States in 1995. Jairo was a hard working man, a loving father, a great brother, a caring uncle, an amazing son, and a supportive friend. He worked at Bryant University for 15 years where he will be greatly missed. He is best remembered for his kind heart and ability to light up a room. Jairo loved to joke around and cooking was his passion.
The funeral will be Sunday October 25th at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln RI. Visitation time will be from 6pm to 9pm. There will be a mass held at Holy Spirit Parish Church, 1030 Dexter, Central Falls on Monday the 26th at 9:30 am. The burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
