Francisco Leite Duarte, 64, of Central Falls passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, after a Courageous battle with cancer. He is the loving son to Antonio and Domingas Duarte. He is the father to Jason Johnson, and grandfather to Jamirah LaMinnie Davis and Jayla Skye Johnson. He is survived by his siblings Maria Duarte, Matilda Rodrigues, Benilda Costa, Avelino Duarte, Claudia Duarte and Nilza Amaral. He is the brother of the late John Duarte. He is also the loving brother in law to Carlos Rodrigues, Donnell Adams, Mark Wildenhain and "Sis" Medina Duarte. In addition, he leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins that adored him.
Francisco enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music, and cracking jokes. His sense of humor was one of a kind. He was a machine operator for many years. He was a talented soccer player and played for the Lusitania Club. He was the loving uncle that was known for creating his special nicknames for each family member. He loved fishing, especially with his right-hand man, brother John. He had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Wednesday, November 4th from 9am until 11am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am in St. Anthony’s Church, Lawn ave, Pawtucket. Burial will be private.
