Emilia D Andrade "MIMI" passed peacefully on November 12, at home with her loving family by her side at the age of 91. She was the wife of the of the late Adelino N DeAndrade for 45 years.

Born in Mato Riba Brava, Cape Verde she was the daughter of the late Etelvina Jose Duarte
She migrated to the United states in August of 1983 and settled in Pawtucket RI. She worked as a Machine Operator at International Packaging for 10 years until her retirement.

She dedicated her life to her family and friends. She is survived by three children, Joao Lobo his wife Ana Lobo of Florida, her daughters Eugenia Lomba and Etelvina Deandrade, she is predeceased by her son Julio Lobo. She is survived by her sisters Domingas "Fibi" Duarte of Holland, Teodalinda DaSilva and Maria Teixeira.
She was the loving Mamai of Nancy, Stephanie,Jennifer, Ashley, Jennifer, Kayla, Joao Jr,Ivette, Danny , Tiffany, Emilia, Sarah, Julio,Joshua, Shaylene. She also leaves behind 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was a parishioner of the St Anthonys Church in Pawtucket and was a regularly active member and loved attending her Sunday Mass. She had a passion for cooking and watching her Novelas. She loved spending time with her family and talking on the phone with her friends. She had a love for her great grand kids and when they walked into the room you would see her light up. She always would make sure they left with her favorite hard candy. Whenever you needed help, she was there, she loved to dance and listen to her favorite traditional Mornas, her favorite being "Caminho de Mar". She loved life and always made everyday count, whenever you left from a visit, she would always send you with "Deus ba ku bo e cumpanhabo". She loved car rides, her Dunkin coffees, and going to Twin Rivers playing the slot machines and her soups from her favorite restaurant Dini's.
She was and will continue to be loved by all, she will be missed terribly...
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 17th at 10am in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket. Burial to which 10 attendees are allowed will be in North Burial ground, Providence.
Visitation will be held Monday, from 5pm until 8pm in The Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. RI Laws state that only 10 visitors will be allowed during the visitation at any time. Please plan accordingly.
