Charles K Mogayzel, 89, born July 4, 1931 in Warren RI, lifelong resident of Pawtucket RI was called home to Jesus on December 27, 2020. He was the son of Simon and Abbie (Kaliff) Mogayzel. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jeannette (Bolduc) Mogayzel and his four children, Charles H Mogayzel and wife Josephina, David A Mogayzel and fiancé Karen Lutz-Smith, James A Mogayzel and Diana (Mogayzel) Collette and her husband Christopher. He was the beloved brother to Julie Cardoza, Barbara McKinney and Sally McConaghy and the late William Mogayzel, John Mogayzel.
He was a proud veteran of the Korean War and an advocate for Metal of Honor recipients.
He was grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He adored seeing them all visit for the annual Christmas Eve party and his 4th of July birthday celebration. He was a proud and helpful man that was highly thought of by many friends and family.
A mass for the celebration of his life will be scheduled for a later date.
