Donald L. (Brother) Boss, 51, born April 10, 1969 in Central Falls to the late Penny Tierney and Stanley Grybowski, passed away on December 22, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Donald worked as the Maitre D' extraordinaire as well as Chef and Manager of Guido's Restaurant and Big Alice's in Providence for many years. Later he certified to become a drug and alcohol counselor and more recently worked at Applebees in Warwick.
Donald is survived by his best friend and long term partner, Cathy Carr, along with their two beautiful daughters, Shalyn and Ciara Carr-Boss. He has four brothers, Billy Rogers (Mary), Bobby Rogers, Tim Boss (Robin), Tommy Boss (Jacqui), and four sisters, Lorry Boss, Kelly Boss, JoAnn Boss, and his twin sister, Donna (Sissy) Boss along with many niece's and nephews. Donald and his partner, Cathy, were foster parents for over 12 years.
Donald did a lot of charity work over the years and raised thousands of dollars especially for the Gay community. He loved to go on cruises/vacations with his family. He was fun loving, caring, and well liked by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. Donald loved his family and friends. He will be missed forever.
Due to Covid restrictions, a memorial will be scheduled for a later date.
