John McCarthy, 67 of Lincoln passed on January 1st at RI Hospital due to COVID complications. John was a carpet installer for many years who became a master of his art. He loved football, golf and his guitar. Born in Pawtucket to the late William and Mary (Therrian) McCarthy. He lived most of his life in Central Falls. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Christine (Gorman) McCarthy, his children, Shawn McCarthy of Providence, Lisa McCarthy of Lincoln and Shannon McCarthy of Pawtucket. His grandchildren Elijah and Aaliyah Parker, to whom they called “Booâ€. His brother, Dennis (Peggy) McCarthy of Cumberland, His sisters, Mary McLinden (Armand predeceased) of Pawtucket, Linda Mallory (Wayne) of Greenville, Joan Brierly (Fred) of New Hampshire and the late Eunice Lyon of Central Falls. He had many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Due to COVID, there will be no calling hours. A Mass for the Celebration of his Life will be scheduled for a later date.
