Bernard Allen Chaney, 68, passed on April 6th with loving family by his side.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Albert Johnson and Aquilla Bertha Chaney,
He is survived by his children, Shawna Robinson, David Taylor, Gary Taylor, Melissa Taylor, Melissa White, Charlean White, Trina McClain Harrison, Darnell McClain, John Colin, Ronnell Soares, Dalonda Ruspus and Derek Ruspus, two sisters, Barbara Ann Chaney Jolly, Velma Ruth Chaney Butterfield, fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Pauline Patterson, Jerry Chaney and Ira Garvins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 14th, starting at 4pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be held Thursday at 11:30am directly at North Burial Ground, Providence. Those attending must assemble in the circle outside the cemetery gates no later than 11:20am.
