Marielle Mayer, 90, entered heaven peacefully from home on May 13th. She is reuniting with her husband of seventy years, Gil Mayer. Born in Ottawa, Canada she became an American citizen in 1963. She is survived by her son Andre Mayer and her daughter in law Reba Golden, her grandson Christopher Mayer and her granddaughter Danielle Mayer. She also leaves her grand puppy Bailey. She also leaves a sister Judith Lemay and a brother Luc Lemay in Canada.
In addition to being an outstanding wife, mother and friend, she worked for the Lynch Insurance Agency as an office manager for many years.
She loved gardening, cooking, taking rides around the state and being with family and friends.
Her funeral will be on May 25th at Saint Jude’s Church, 301 Front Street in Lincoln at 10am.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hope Hospice at 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI. 02906.
