Joao G. Cipriano, 82, passed on May 20, 2021. He was the husband of the late Fernanda (Garcia) Cipriano.
Born in Portugal, he was a son of the late Joao Goncalves Cipriano and Helena DeSousa DaRosa.
He had been employed by Hasbro Inc. for over 30 years retiring in 2001. He was an avid walker and a true Patriots fan. Joao was a member of the Lusitania Club, Cumberland.
He is survived by a son, John C. Cipriano and his wife, Michelle, a daughter, Diane Sabatini, four grandchildren, Casey Cipriano and Tony Cipriano, John Sabatini Jr. and Damien Sabatini and a great-grandson Dante Cipriano, and a sister, Maria Cipriano. He was the brother of the late Maria Luisa Lima and Manuel Goncalves.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4pm until 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, High St., Pawtucket at 9:30am. Burial will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
