Gabriel Callejas, peacefully passed away with his loving family by his side on May 27, 2021.
Born on February 24, 1961 in El Salvador. Gabriel left behind his wife Marta Callejas , 7 children(Celia, Mau, Margarita, Ibby, Gabby, Gina and Melvin) and 13 grandchildren (Arleen, Jefferson, Gabriela, Rashell, Hayden, Gianna, Jomar, Sophie, Ariella, Abby, Jariel, Julian and Liam).
Gabriel was a hard working man who dedicated his life to help his loved ones. In 1986 he left his home country and moved to the United States to give his family a better life and opportunities.
In his early ages Gabriel was a police officer and soldier before moving to New Jersey and starting a new life. During his time here he became a truck driver and would travel around the States. His hobbies consist of going to the movies with his god son and grandchildren, watching soccer games with his favorite team Atletico Madrid, going to the mall with his wife and daughters, uploading videos to his youtube channel, and most importantly he loved to drink coffee.
He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and a great musician.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 1st from 5pm until 9pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
His funeral will start at 8am Wednesday from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.

2021. Nació el 24 de febrero de 1961 en El Salvador. Gabriel deja a su esposa Marta Callejas, 7 hijos (Celia, Mau, Margarita, Ibby, Gabby, Gina y Melvin) y 13 nietos (Arleen, Jefferson,
Gabriela, Rashell, Hayden, Gianna, Jomar, Sophie, Ariella, Abby, Jariel , Julian y Liam). El, era un hombre trabajador que dedicó su vida a amar y ayudar a sus seres queridos. A su temprana edad, antes de mudarse a New Jersey y comenzar una nueva vida, Gabriel fue oficial de policÃa y soldado, . Luego, en 1986 dejó su paÃs de origen y se mudó a los Estados Unidos para brindarle a su familia una vida mejor con mayores oportunidades. Durante sus años aquà se
convirtió en conductor de camión y viajaba por todos los estados. Sus pasatiempos favoritos
siempre fueron ir al cine con su ahijado y nietos, ver partidos de fútbol con su equipo preferido
el Atlético de Madrid, ir al centro comercial con su esposa e hijas, subir videos a su canal de youtube, y lo más importante, le encantaba tomar café.
Será recordado como un padre luchador, amoroso, y entregado completamente a su familia,
asimismo, sus nietos lo recordarán como un abuelo extraordinario y como un gran músico.
