Rose Mae Watkins, 79, passed peacefully on July 9th. She was the wife of Ira F. Watkins. They have been married for over 60 years.
Born Altona, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Jennie (Drexler) Witt.
She had been employed in the jewelry industry for many years before retiring.
Besides her husband she is survived by five daughters, Esther Watkins, Sandra Baety, Sally Watkins Horan, Christine Kozak and Rosemarie Watkins, a son, Ira F. Watkins Jr, siblings, Jack Witt, Nancy Torres, Ralph Witt, Jennie Cartier, Thelma Sousa, brother in law, Bertrand Cabana, twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Carl Witt, Joe Witt and Betty Cabana.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 14th from 10am until 12am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
