Alvera A. Banna, 91, of East Providence passed away peacefully June 30th at Evergreen Nursing Home with her loving niece by her side.
Alvera was born September 6th 1929 in Central Falls. She was the beloved daughter of Kelelia (Balady) and Nasry Banna of Aleppo, Syria. She was predeceased by her siblings Souad Jehemy, Louis Banna, George Banna, Fred Banna, Olga Balady and Alice Hindy. Alvera Leaves behind her lifelong friend Louise Provencher, with whom she traveled the world. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that loved her dearly.
Vera worked as a machine operator at Sealot Manufacturing in Warwick for many years. She enjoyed cooking, word puzzles and most of all her daily Mass on television.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Wednesday, July 21st from 4-6pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Lincoln.
