The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised. The Goodridge, Porte, Garnett, Murray, Mulbah, Shorrow and Gerring families with profound regret the untimely passing of our beloved mother, sister, daughter, cousin and friend, Deaconess Ruby Adline Goodridge. She was called to rest on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Fatima Hospital, North Providence, Rhode Island, United States of America. Ruby Adline Goodridge was born on January 02, 1956 to James Wilfred Goodridge and Yatta Yonkon in Monsterrado County, Liberia. She was predeaceased by both parents and three elder sons. She leaves to mourn a host of siblings, a son, Emmett J. Mulbah and a daughter Jeanette S. Shorrow-Gerring. Also daughter in-law Precious Mulbah and son in-law Michael N. Gerring and many grandchildren.Ruby loved with her whole heart, but most importantly she loved the Lord and served him throughout her life. It breaks our heart to lose her but God's garden must be beautiful, this is why he always takes the best. So, part of us has gone with her now that God has called her home.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visitation on Saturday, July 31st in the Keefe Funeral Home, Lincoln from 9-11am with a service at a 11. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
