Pang Thao Yang, 80, Born September 20, 1940, left this earth peacefully on July 14th, 2021. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to many children whom she loved so very dearly.
Preceded in death by daughters Zoua, Shoua, and Yer Yang.
Survived by husband Nhia Xue Yang of 65 years, four sons and two daughters, Num Cher Yang of Wisconsin, Ying Yang of Providence, Lor Yang of Warwick, Fue Yang of Coventry, May Yang of Minnesota, and Xay Yang of North Carolina.
She has thirty-four grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
Pang arrived to the United States in 1979 from Laos after the Vietnam War. Pang and her husband devoted themselves to working hard in manufacturing companies to provide for their family. She retired and made a home in Providence where she enjoyed gardening and sewing traditional Hmong clothing in her past time. Pang enjoyed being outdoors and tending to her vegetable gardens. She was a devoted Christian who believed in Christ and that one day she will be joined with Him in heaven.
Visitation with a Christian Service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 9am-9pm. Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 9am-9pm, and Monday from 9am-11am with burial following service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Greenwich.
