Zelia Carvalho, 74, passed on September 3rd with loving family by her side. She was the longtime companion of Joseph DaSilva. Born in Terceirca, Azores she was a daughter of the late Francisco DosSantos and Maria (Gomes) DosSantos.
She had been employed by Hope Webbing as a machine operator for many years. She was a generous donor to Our Lady of Lassolette and the Holy Spirit Society.
Zelia was the loving mother of Elizabeth Amesbury, her husband Mark, Bernadette DeSilva, Lucia DaLomba, her husband Firmino "Freddy", the late Steven F. Carvalho, 9 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, September 8th from 8:30-10:15am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Lincoln followed by a mass at St. Mary’s Church, 103 Pine St, Pawtucket, RI 02860 at 11 am. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
