Julio Diaz, 82, of Providence, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 14th. He was the beloved husband of Rosa Vargas. Born in Zacapa, Guatemala he was a son of the late Carlos Estrada and Maria Diaz.
Besides his loving wife he is survived by four children, Julio Diaz, Rosemary Alvarado, Olga Orellana, Heydi Vargas; twelve grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, September 17th from 6:00 – 9:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be in Guatemala.
