Maria Jose DaGraca, 96, passed on September 25th at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Henrique A. DaGraca. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Teixeira and Olivia Coelho. Maria dedicated her life to her family. She is survived by six sons, Antonio C. DaGraca, his wife Idelmira, Manuel C. DaGraca, his wife Domingas, Napoleon C. DaGraca, his wife Eulalia, Alberto C. DaGraca, his wife Susana, Jose C. DaGraca, his wife Rosa and Adelino C. DaGraca, three daughters, Ruth G. DaLomba, her husband Joaquim, Madalena Almeida, her husband Napoleao, Guilhermina Teixeira, her husband Samuel, two sisters, Iva DeSouza and Justa Goncalves, 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Antonio Gomes DaGraca.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 29th from 5pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 30th at 10am in St. John the Baptist Church, Quincy Ave, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
