Antonio G. Andrade, 90, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2021 in Providence. He was the son of the late Joseph Andrade and Elzira Galvao Andrade. He was the father of the late Jose Duarte and brother to Domingas Galvao and Maria Jose. Antonio leaves behind 14 children, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was charismatic, fun, loving, and a jokester. Antonio was the elder, the leader of the Andrade family. The best story teller, he was walking family history. Antonio had a smile that shined like the sun. He was an amazing dad that wanted his family to succeed. He served his country of Cape Verde in the military. Also, he worked at school house candy until retirement. Came to America to send for his family. Avid card player and a devoted wrestling fan.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 4th from 5:00 – 8:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, October 5th at 10:00am in St. Mary Church, Pine St., Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Prospect St., Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited.
