Oscar R. Underwood, 68, of Providence, RI passed away on October 4th, 2021. Born in Providence RI, he was a son of the late Bertha Coates Underwood and John Underwood. He is survived by his wife, Paula S. Underwood, three daughters, Rayshonda Stokes, Vicki Stokes-Kumar, and Keishona Underwood, stepson, Kelon Kilgore. Sisters, Diane Underwood, Deborah Underwood, Cynthia Donaldson, the late Marilyn J. Underwood-Bangura, Laurette Mabry, Yuvette Underwood and brother, Johnny Underwood Jr. Thirteen Grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Oscar had a very humorous and outgoing personality; he touched the hearts of everyone that was blessed to be in his presence and will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, October 13th from 9:00am-12:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI. Burial will be private.
