Dorothy Mae Jefferies, 90, of Providence, R.I., passed away peacefully on October 14, 2021 in Fall River, MA. She was the loving wife of Claude Jefferies Sr. Born in Raleigh, North Carolina on January 18, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Fairella Harris.
Besides her beloved husband, she is survived by her children: Claude Jefferies Jr, Doris Jefferies, Brenda Jefferies, Denise Baysem, Diane Redmond, Yada Yamaha, Andrew Jefferies, Robert Jefferies, Cheryl Jefferies, Patricia Calcione, Calvin Jefferies; she also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, October 19th from 10:00 – 11:00am in the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ, 25 Mystic St., Providence, R.I., followed by a home-going service at 11:00am. Burial is private.
