Claude Jefferies Sr., 95, of Providence, R.I., passed away peacefully on November 19, 2021. He was the loving husband of Dorothy M. (Harris) Jefferies. Born in Raleigh, North Carolina on July 22, 1926, he was a son of the late Amstead and Pearl Jefferies.
He is survived by his children: Claude Jefferies Jr, Doris Jefferies, Brenda Jefferies, Denise Baysem, Diane Redmond, Yada Yamaha, Andrew Jefferies, Robert Jefferies, Cheryl Jefferies, Patricia Calcione, Calvin Jefferies; she also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, November 27th from 10:00am – 11:00am in the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ, 25 Mystic St., Providence, R.I., followed by a home-going service at 11:00am. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence, RI.
