On Thursday, November 18, 2021, Maria Jesus Martins Miranda, a loving wife, and mother of five children, passed away at the age of 77. She is survived by her husband Armindo Miranda, her children; Arminda Zapata, Maria Eugenia Miranda, Antonio Miranda, Mario Miranda and Carlos Miranda, her grandchildren; Anthony, Jennifer, Emily, Sole’, Simone, Ashley, Cameron, Malina and great grandchild Adrian Jahzai. Her sisters; Maria Alves, Maria Brandao, Belmira Silva and her brothers, Avelino Miranda, Cecilio Miranda, Osvaldo Miranda, late brothers Joe Miranda, Napolean Miranda and late sister Martina Barros and their children. She was the daughter of Guilhermina Monteiro Fernandez and daughter of the late Manuel Miranda. Known for her beautiful eyes, she was a woman of faith, who loved to sing, sit outside with nature, watch her favorite novelas and enjoy a good conversation. She will always be remembered for her strength, her hardworking and generous ways, her caring and loving heart. She was the center and rock of the family, willing to do anything for her children and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 26th in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln RI from 5pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, November 27th at St. Anthony's Church, 32 Lawn Ave. Pawtucket, RI at 10am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
