Rena "Nay Nay" Jefferies, 57, of Pawtucket, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 2nd, 2022 at Miriam Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Rena was born in Providence RI, on 8/26/1964 to the late Bernice and Theodore Jefferies. She is survived by her long-time spouse Joseph A. Robinson; daughter Tara Jefferies; sons Jody Jefferies, Aaron Jefferies, Mario Jefferies; sister Denise Johnson; 3 loving grandchildren; and extended family in Rhode Island, Georgia, Connecticut, and Texas.
Rena spent over 20 years as an early childhood educator, many may remember her from Mount Hope Daycare Center in Providence RI. In her later years, she transitioned to the behavioral/therapeutic service field. Rena was loved by everyone she came in contact with, she always stressed the importance of family, opened her doors and heart to those in need, made sure family stayed connected, and provided honesty and guidance to those around her. Rena loved to host family gatherings, loved cooking, and many loved her "Macaroni Salad". She also loved shopping, fashion, and decorating. Rena was the best mother, spouse, sister, aunt, and friend anyone could ever ask for. Rena will never be forgotten in our hearts and our memories.
