Matilda F. DaGraca, 61, passed on January 15, 2022. She was the wife of Daniel M. DaGraca. They have been married for over 40 years. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Joao and Benvinda (Fortes) Gamboa.
She had been employed by Wrentham Development Center for ten years. Matilda was a member of the Mt. Hope Community Baptist Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by seven children, Melanie DaGraca, Jason DaGraca, Diane DaGraca, Brian DaGraca, Jennefer DaGraca, Joshua DaGraca and Denise DaGraca, thirteen grandchildren, Diandre, Teanna, Alexia, Tatiana, Neydan, Jenney, Naven, Brianna, Nathan, Israel, Arianna, Lilian and Violette, siblings Alda Gomes, Henry Gamboa, Francisco Gamboa, Lucia DaLomba, Joao Gamboa, Avelino Gamboa, Julio Gamboa, Amadeu Gamboa, Gabriel Gamboa, Alvaro Gamboa, Benvinda Gamboa, Vasco Gamboa, Jose Gamboa, Manuel Gamboa, Elsie Gamboa and Maria Gamboa and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maria Fortes
Her funeral will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at 9:30am with a funeral service at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 4pm until 7pm.
