Theresa "Terry" L. Durand, 59 of Johnston passed away February 5th at home with her family after a 3 year battle with cancer.
Terry leaves behind her loving husband of 25 years Michael Durand. Terry was born April 4th, 1962 in Providence to Jeanne Richard and the late William Mantha. She is survived by her son Christopher Lavigne and his wife Jen and her daughter Brittany Pratt and her husband Ryan, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She also leaves behind her two brothers David Mantha of Deland Florida and John Mantha of North Providence. Terry worked for Fernando Originals Jewelry for 25 years as a sample maker and designer until her illness. She was a person who put fun in everything she did. She was the living embodiment of sunflowers and the color yellow. She was an untouchable, kookie, hyper and loving person. She made a high impact on everyone who loved her.

Memorial service will be at the Gates of Heaven Chapel in East Providence held on Friday February 11th at noon. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to the St. Jude Children's Hospital (stjude.org) would be appreciated.
