James E. Babbitt, 78, of Lincoln, passed away on February 12th, 2022. He leaves behind his loving extended family and wife Joan of nearly 30 years. Joan would like Jim to be remembered for his kind heart and witty sense of humor. Jim had an immense love for his family and was truly loved by them in return. He was a hard worker and a strong supporter to those he cared about. Jim had a soft spot for a great love story and he certainly had that with Joan. He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to love and be loved by him.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 20th from 1:00 - 3:00pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital in Jim’s name.
