Oscar A. Lemus, 53, of Providence, passed away on February 13, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Karyn M. Roldan-Lemus. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador he was a son of Manuel Antonio Lemus, Sr. and the late Irma Esperanza Dominguez.
A great warrior was called to the presence of the Lord on February 13, 2022. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Oscar was a prayer warrior who loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a member and a server of Blessed Land Church where he was loved and respected by all his Pastors Carlos and Melix Diaz and by the entire congregation.
Oscar moved to the United States with his father and brothers in October 1980 and graduated from Cranston West High School in 1987. He was self-employed in a family-owned business.
Besides his loving wife he is survived by a stepson, Daniel Paz; two brothers, Carlos A. Lemus and Jaime Lemus; and many more family, aunts, cousins and friends. He was the brother of the late Manuel A. Lemus Jr., who just passed away on February 12, 2022.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services on Monday, February 21st from 5:00 – 8:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI. Live streaming will be available. Burial will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00am directly at Walnut Hill Cemetery, 200 Armistice Blvd., Pawtucket.
