Denise Donovan, 69, of Johnston, passed away on March 14, 2022 in Providence, RI. She was the loving wife of John Donovan for 53 years. Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was a daughter of the late Eleanor Atkins.
Besides her husband she is survived by siblings, Michael Vincent Sr. and wife Joann, Joann Whatmough, Beverly Vincent; nieces and nephews, Sherry Thornton and husband William, Lewis Veader and wife Sarah, Michael Vincent Jr., Alicia Vincent, Tasha Simoneau and husband Norman, Stephanie Ortiz and husband Jesse, Stephen Taylor and wife Glenny; brothers-in-law, Tony Donovan, James Donovan, Danny Donovan, Robert Donovan; sisters-in-law, Theresa, Mary Beth, Lillian and Amy; many loved great nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late John Donovan Jr. and Joann Donovan; sister of the late Patrick Vincent, Jackie Stewart, Kathleen Veader; sister-in-law of the late Charlie Whatmough; daughter-in-law of the late John J. and Lillian Donovan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, March 19th from 2:00 – 3:30pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a memorial service at 3:30pm. Burial is private.
