Dolores C. Benson, 74, passed peacefully on March 23, 2022 with her loving family by her side.
She was the wife of the late William Benson Jr. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Odilon and Rosaline (Malo) Patry.
She had been employed by Walgreens of Pawtucket for 23 years before retiring in 2019.
Dolores dedicated her life to her family, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed her two dogs, Gizmo and Mr. Leon.
She is survived by her children, Samantha Branco, her husband Nuno, William Benson and Rhoda Lafond, her husband Homer with whom Dolores resided, three grandchildren, Steven Benson, Sara Branco and Hunter Lafond. She was one of 16 siblings.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 26th from 5pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be private in the R.I. Veterans Cemetery.
