Jean-Louis "DjanDjan" Brito, 61, passed away on Sunday, March 27th 2022.
Born in Dakar, Senegal, he was the son of the late, Luis Brito and Clarice Dos Santos. Raised by his lovely aunt, Maria Da Luz “Dallas” Brito, He grew up in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde and immigrated to the U.S. in 1988.
Jean-Louis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and many activities including traveling, going for a jog and playing soccer, in fact he was a former standout of the Cape Verdean National Soccer Team. He was loved by everyone that crossed his path and was known for his contagious smile and laugh.
Jean-Louis is survived by his wife of 32 years, Orisa Brito, his loving children, Rudy Brito, Jordy Brito and Fifi Brito, his older brother Emmanuel "Gass" Brito, his grandson Bruno Brito, and his other loving siblings; Ami, Nery, Frederick, Luis & Iolanda. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, sister/brother in laws.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 1st 2022 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI. The funeral will take place on Saturday, April 2nd 2022 at 9:00am at Keefe Funeral Home followed by the burial at 11:00am at North Burial Ground, 5 Branch Ave, Providence, RI.
