Estefania Cordeiro, 85, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Arturo Cordeiro. Born in St. Miguel, Azores a daughter of the late Manuel and Elvira (Aguiar) Paulino – Medeiros.
She had been employed in the manufacturing industry in the Pawtucket area for many years before retiring.
Mrs. Cordeiro was an active communicant of St. Anthony Church and a member of their Holy Ghost Society. She enjoyed caring for her garden and spending time with friends and family.
Estefania is survived by her loving children, Rose Soares her husband Luis, Etelvina Faria husband Joao, Arthur Cordeiro, Elvira Hanson husband Rodney, Ana Francis, Natalia Purdue husband Harry, Steven Cordeiro and Stephanie Cordeiro – Broccoli husband Kevin, three brothers, Manuel Paulino, Jose de Medeiros and Vidal de Medeiros, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eduarda Faria, Estrella Ventura and Rose Senra.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 5th from 5pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 6th at 10am in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket. Burial will be graveside in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. Pawtucket.
