Benvindo Gomes, 49, passed suddenly on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, he was a son of Joao Gomes and the late Maria Goncalves. He was a longtime companion of Nancy Monteiro.
He had been employed as a commercial Painter for many years. He is survived by two children, Cheila Gomes and Calaisi Gomes, five grandchildren, Edvany Fernandes, Jonylson Santos, Tzziporah Gomes, Tyzariah Gomes, Kingston Gomes, siblings, Francisco Souza, Maria Souza, Madalena Fernandes, Isolinha Fernades, Jose Silva, Selso Barbosa, Madona Barbosa, a sister, Victoria Goncalves and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 2pm until 5pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Burial will be private.
