Irene Duarte, 86, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brava, Cape Verde she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Duarte.
She is survived by her children, The late Jose Duarte, Rosalina Duarte, Manuel Duarte, Maria H. Duarte, John Goncalves, Pedro Andrade Duarte; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 10th in St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave., Pawtucket, at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be Thursday, June 9th from 5:00 – 8:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home.
