Gail V. Waite, 78, of East Providence, RI passed away Friday June 10, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital. Gail worked at Speidel as a polisher, before retiring. Gail was a loving woman who raised her seven children, but others in the east side community. Gail was married to the love of her life for 60 years. Gail is preceded in death by her father Antone Perry, her mother Iris (Gray) Perry. Her brother Antone Perry III, her son Shawn Dale Waite. Her granddaughters Dalesha Goddette, and Elissann Silvia and her great grandson Chance Omari Robinson. Gail leaves behind her loving husband Beverl E. Waite, Sr. Her children Iris V. Waite, Beverl E. Waite, Jr. of Attleboro, MA, Brian D. Waite(Lesley Waite) of Fall River, MA. I'Loner L. Weaver of Darlington, RI. Adrian C. Waite(Kim Gomes-Waite) of Providence, RI. Kojo Taylor, Anika Taylor of Providence. Lance K. Waite of Providence, and Kristen D. Waite of East Providence, RI. Gail also leaves behind her grandchildren Shaundra L. Gamboa, Brianne D. Daly(Kevin Daly), Niketta L. Weaver, Sheron Robinson, Juanito Avant, Sharnice Hall, Lance Hall, Lavon Waite, Shawn D. Durant, Rashauna Hassan, Shawana Hill-Waite, Adryan Waite, Beverl E. Waite,III, Kristie-Lynn Graham(Laura Graham), Charisse Hughes-Barnes, Destiny Hughes-Barnes, Ebony L. Everett(Jacob Everett), Jene Valente, Kendra Valente, Raeann A. Soares,Nadria M. Soares, Jemari C. Soares, Jayden Waite, Journee T. Waite, and Elias Waite. Gail also leaves behind 31 great grandchildren who she absolutely adored and loved to spoil. Gail also leaves behind her brother in laws Ambrose Waite(Beth Waite) and Dennis Waite, her sister in law Terrie Loud, and a whole list of cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, friends, and a community that will miss her immensely. Gail's services will be at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Avenue Lincoln, on Friday, June 17th from 6pm-8pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 8:30am in the Keefe Funeral Home followed by a service. Burial will be in North Burial Ground cemetery, Providence. Her repass will be at The C.V. Social Club 329 Grosvenor Avenue in East Providence from 1-5pm.
