Robert “Bob” and Winifred “Debbie” (Masuck) Langevin, both age 70, tragically passed away together, from a car accident June 13th, 2022. Bob and Debbie were both born at the same hospital in Pawtucket, one day apart from each other, in January 1952. They were introduced to each other the summer after graduation from W. E. Tolman in 1970. They married in April 1972 and they remained inseparable for the next 50 years until their recent passing. Bob and Debbie were devoted parents, loving siblings and true friends. They shared a light-hearted, sarcasm-infused sense of humor, especially with each other. Bob was forthcoming yet sensitive and genuine and Debbie has been described as “having the patience of a saint.” They will be missed dearly.
In 2012 Bob was the recipient of a heart transplant, and as his final act he gave back the gift of life through donation.
Bob and Debbie are survived by two daughters, Erika Berrio and her husband Jesus of Warwick and Erin Langevin and her significant other Justin Jamro of Pawtucket. Bob and Debbie are also survived by their two grandchildren Hailey and Robert whom they loved inexplicably.
Bob is survived by his parents Edmond and Theresa Langevin of East Providence. He is also survived by three brothers: Charles Langevin and his wife Deborah of Seekonk, Stephen Langevin and his wife Jacqueline of Pawtucket and Richard Langevin and his wife Lucie of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Debbie is survived by two brothers: William Masuck of Pawtucket and her sister-in-law Pam of Punta Gorda Florida and Stephen Masuck and his wife Carol, formerly of Port Charlotte Florida. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents William and Wanda Masuck. Bob and Debbie leave many nieces and nephews whom they adored. They also leave their two beloved Goldendoodles, Mr. Cutie and Jasper.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, June 21st from 5:00 – 8:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 22nd at 10:00am in Saint John Paul II Church, (formerly Saint Cecilia's Church), 1253 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Please meet directly at the church. Burial is private. In Lieu of flowers donations in their memory may be made to MA General Hospital, 125 Nashua St., Suite 540, Boston, MA 02114-1101.
