John Barbosa’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death, John passed away on June 23, 2022 at the age of 45 after a courageous battle, surrounded by the love of his life Michelle and his sister Toni who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
John was blessed with a large family and had the biggest heart. He would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He loved cooking and worked in the food industry. He called himself a manager of food safety.
John loved the simplest things in life. He enjoyed quite evenings at home with his wife, Michelle and enjoyed the time he had with his many friends. He was so proud of his son Romeo and the man he is. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met. John is survived by his wife, Michelle, his son Romeo, his stepchildren Michael, Arianna and Sean, father Luis, sisters Toni, Ana and Flora, many cousins, nieces, and nephews and his dogs Maze and Rhen.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28th from 4pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be private.
