Dolores E. Meleo, 74, of North Providence, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 8, 2022. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late John and Nancy (Bass) Pelligrino.
Dolores worked at Jafra Cosmetics and Shaw’s Supermarket in North Providence for many years. She was a strong believer in God and had strong faith. Most of all she loved being around her children and grandchildren and was a caring mother to all.
She is survived by two children, Ronald Meleo and wife Laura, Sherry Kirk and husband Gary; six grandchildren, Giovanni and Hailey Meleo, Karissa Meleo, Chelsea and Courtney Carlino, Caitin Kirk; nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kayla Pine.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, August 11th from 6:00 – 7:30pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral home service at 7:30pm. Burial is private.
