Edward F. Harris, 64, of Woonsocket, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday August 30th, at his home.
He is survived by his mother Barbara L. (Messier) Harris, his daughters; Meghan E. Harris and her fiancé Carlos Paiva of Cumberland. Stephanie Harris Laboy and her husband Miguel of Vernon CT. His 5 grandchildren; Victoria, Aiden, Abigail, Grace, and Aubrie. His 6 siblings; a sister Brenda Welcome and her husband Donald of Oxford, MA., a brother Wayne Harris and his lifelong companion Dawn Keller of Rogers, AR., a brother Ronald Harris of Worcester, MA., a brother Steven Harris of Worcester, MA., a sister Christine Kincaid of Worcester, MA., a sister Pamela Barrell and her husband John of Spencer, MA., and several nieces and nephews.
Edward was born in Worcester, the son of Barbara and the late Ronald Harris. He graduated from South High Community School where he held the state record for the 400 meter and enjoyed cross country. After graduation he Immediately joined the US Air Force where he proudly served for 12 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Private funeral services and burial will be held in Rhode Island at the family’s request with a private celebration of life held on Saturday, September 10th, 2022.
