Manuel L. Almeida, 94, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on September 17th surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Luiza Maria Almeida. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, he was a son of the late Joaquim and Elzela (Almeida).
He is survived by five children, Arnaldo, Avelina, Albertino, Adriano, Aldina; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation from 9:00am – 10:30am on Friday, September 23rd at Mt. Hope Community Baptist Church, 734 Hope St., Providence, RI, followed by a funeral service at 10:30am. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
