98, formerly of Wilfrid Manor, passed away Thursday, March 26th at the Holiday Retirement Center, Manville.
She was a lifelong resident of Central Falls.
Ida was the daughter of the late Achille and Angelina (Labrecque) Roy and was a textile worker most of her life.
She is survived by her nephew, Roger Lavoie of Cumberland and nieces Pauline Lemieux of Harrisville, Yvette Marchand of South Attleboro, MA, Rosemarie Brister of Ohio and several grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Emile Roy, Oscar Roy, Juvenal Roy, Leo Roy, Louis Roy, Alfred Roy, Marie Lavoie, Leonide King and Geraldine Meunier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday in St. Matthew Church, Dexter St, Central Falls at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will begin Saturday morning at 8am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Ida’s memory may be made to Sr. Bea’s Ministry, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls RI 02863.
