Rafael Gorritz, 85, of Central Falls, passed peacefully on September 25th at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Isaura Gorritz. Born in Comerio, Puerto Rico he was a son of the late Ramon Cintron and Maximina Gorritz.
He is survived by two children, Maria Osorio, Migdalia Colon; eight grandchildren, Marixsa Canty, Juanita Jackson, Catalina James, Tomas Diaz, Ramon Escalera, David Escalera, Omar Velazquez and Felix Vargas. He was predeceased by a son, Juan A. Sanchez.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, September 30th from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 1st at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish, 1030 Dexter St., Central Falls. Please meet directly at the church. Burial is private.
