Adelina A. Pires, 78, passed peacefully at home on October 4, 2022. She was the wife of the late Henrique Pires.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde she was the daughter of the late Cecelia Almeida Rodrigues and Manuel Pina Rodrigues
She is survived by her children Maria Pires, Beatriz Pires, and Leonel Pires, grandchildren Harel Pires Monteiro, Yvette Brunson, Tijanay Martell, Jaslyn Pires LaSalle, Alex Pires, Elijah Pires, and Carter Pires, her Siblings, Celeste Rodrigues, Adelina Rodrigues, Beatriz Rodrigues, Angelina Fortes, and Antonio Rodrigues.
She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She was pre-deceased by her son Alex Pires and siblings George Rodrigues, Jose Rodrigues, and John Almeida.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 6th from 4pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Her funeral will start with visitation on Friday, October 7th at 9am at the funeral home with a funeral service at 10am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
