Joseph D. Silva, 85, passed away on Tuesday October 11th, 2022, with his loving Family by his side. Born in Brava, Cape Verde to the late Manuel and Julia Silva. He is survived by his only daughter Martine Silva, living partner Maria Da Rosario, 6 Step kids, Grandchildren Tyreek, Tyrell, and Tyvon Rodrigues, his siblings Antonio DaSilva and Joao Silva of Pawtucket, Maria DeSousa of New Bedford, Laura Garcia of Sao Vicente, Cabo Verde, Juvina Cruz of Pawtucket, many nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Edith Lima, brother Miguel Silva and sister Emilia Silva.
Joseph loved to lend a helping hand to others. Joseph’s Favorite things to do was Fixing houses, Building, Painting, and being around Friends and Family. Family was everything to him. He will be dearly missed by all.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend calling hours Monday, October 17th at The Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln from 4pm-7pm. His funeral begins on Tuesday, October 18th DIRECTLY at St. Raymond's Church, 1240 North Main St. Providence, RI at 10am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
