Lucas Israel Burgo, 5, passed away peacefully Monday 10/17/22 surrounded by his love ones. Lucas was a lovely little boy whose smile brighten the world, a warrior angel in disguise. He came with a purpose and now has fulfilled that purpose to return back home to God. His purpose was to strengthen, unite and bring that unconditional love to prove that when the spirit is strong the body has to obey. He showed us that anything is possible if you just pray. He saw the the bright side of everything and with all his challenges he overcome each one. With his big bright brown eyes he would stare at you and just feel your energy. Every now and then he will give that one eye stare like umn I see you. If he made connections with you he'll let you care his hands if he really liked you he'll let you run your fingers through his hair, yes his hair was his pride but being among us was his joy. He loved his mother voice, his father whistles, and his brother kisses. Watching Moana and all his teddy bears snuggled up with him was how he would end his night. With the ocean breeze the sound of waves the warmth of the sun and being with his family were his meaning of a great vacation. You will never be forgotten warrior angel we are confident you still among us but just in a different form. He is survive by his father Egidio Burgo (Gy) his mother Elisabeth Burgo, brother Daniel Burgo, grandmother Emmanuelle Mickelson, Etalvina Gonsalves, grandfather Abelrto Gonsalves, Joao Fernandes his adoptive grandfather Einar Mickelson, Alvaro Gamboa, adoptive grandmother Maria Gamboa his aunties Lina Fernandes, Cecilia Fernandes, Jessica Barros, Sorriya Sam Lyric Peterson his uncles Jeffrey Gamboa and Wilson Gamboa and many great aunties and cousins.
Visitation will be held Saturday October 22, 2022 starting at 9am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence at noon.
