Margarida DePina, 67, passed peacefully in the arms of her loving daughters on October 24, 2022. She was the wife of Manuel DePina. They have been married for over 30 years.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Domingo Lopes and Tomazio (DaLomba) Lopes.
She dedicated her life to her family. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Angelina Lopes, Vanessa DePina and Maria DePina, siblings, three grandchildren, Luvayah, Natala and Imani. She was one of ten siblings. Margarida was the mother of the late Adelisa Cardosa. She was a hard working pure at heart woman with an infectious smile and laugh that brightened the room.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 31st in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, High St., Pawtucket at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Sunday from 3pm until 6pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Lincoln.
