Barbara A. McDermott, 86, passed on November 13, 2022.
peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Mickey W. McDermott. Born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late Louis and Sarah (Bociek) Hamond. She resided most of her life in Central Falls and Bristol.
She was the proprietor of Mickeys Valley View Pub, Cumberland for the past 47 years.
Barbara was a professional dance teacher for most of her life, and enjoyed Las Vegas and the Casinos
She is survived by a son, Rick McDermott, (Debbie), a daughter, Nancy McDermott Larose (Dennis), two grandsons, Rick McDermott Jr. and Matt McDermott (Ashley) two great granddaughters, Violet McDermott and Layla McDermott. She was the sister of the late June Pelletier.
Calling hours will be held Monday, November 21th from 5pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02903.
